Have you ever wanted to design a WordPress theme but just don’t have the skills? Can’t afford a programmer to design the theme of your dreams? If you answered yes to either of those questions, the Project Community Theme might be just what you’re looking for. This is a community project run by Justin Tadlock, the creator of the great themes like Visionary and Structure.
Justin has received such a great response from so many people using his themes, that he decided his next WordPress theme will be designed by you, the WordPress users, and coded by him.
Put your thinking caps on and head on over to the Project Community Theme and give Justin some thoughts on what your dream WordPress theme would include.

Wow that’s really cool that someone is willing to do that. I’ve been tweaking wordpress themes for a while but I really want to create my own that’s how I came across your blog.

Wow. That cool. Thanks for sharing
for all my WP project i found rather easily nice design templates, but i got tired of always having to repair and modify them. i was already thinking of starting a new project that will help users to change the design in wordpress like in a WYSIWYG editor, but it would take me years to develop. and then all the release changes of WP would make it just harder. so this is how i found your blog.
thanks for that nice link. i will just “outsource” my design ideas, as of now.
I completely agree with having free or community themes, look at the great things that are being accomplished with open source right now. The sheer amount of dev power is much greater and longevity too.
