A WordPress post from my iPhone

Well folks, here it is, a post from my iPhone!

I am running the WordPress iPhone application found on the iTunes app store. It has some pretty nice features for it’s initial release, but I look forward to even more.

You can learn more about this app here http://iPhone.WordPress.com

Yeah, I waited a year before buying an iPhone because of all the hype, but I have to tell you, I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long!

Writing a post on this blog via the WordPress iPhone App was pretty easy, although I have to say, I’ve never been very good at “texting” so typing was a little time consuming. I think the best use of this software will be micro blogging or mobile photo blogging, as you can use pics from the iPhone in your posts. As soon as the iPhone comes integrated with video capabilities, I’m sure I will start videoblogging more often as well!

i am still waiting to get an iphone to blog from everywhere.

How long did it take you to write this post? You say it wasn’t hard to write, but take it a lot of time?

That sounds pretty cool. I have to get a new phone soon and this pushes me more towards the iphone. It looks like the link http://iPhone.WordPress.com/ has been taken down though.

I use my iPhone for small updates on my blog from time to time. It takes me a lot longer and not having copy n paste is a bit of a downfall but overall it is a pretty good idea and a nice service to have…

Wow! I love WordPress and using it via an iPhone is so cool! My mom said since I always love using WordPress, she bought something for me this Christmas. I hope it’s an iPhone; I’m crossing my fingers for it. I can’t wait to have an iPhone to blog anytime and anywhere.

The Wordpress-iPhone App is indeed very cool, but also lacks some important features like comment-management…we’ll see how it develops…

btw., as I’m reading your blog on my iPhone from time to time, I’ld highly recommend installing a plugin for mobile rendering. My favorite is Mobilepress, and I’ve compiled some advice on its usage on my blog:

The iPhone is very nice, very beautiful, is wonderful, but here in Brazil is very expensive. The price is absurd so I am just dreaming of it.

I just got an iphone, and ready blogs and being able to post comments on Wordpress is absolutely unbelievable. Does life get better than this?

Ok. I think I’ll give it a try. When I had my blackberry before I used my mail to blog – this wordpress feature is usually forgotten when it comes to posting new content.

Smart phones could be the future of blogging.

A computer is in the room you keep it. But your phone is always in your pocket or in your purse.

    Which gets the most usage?

    Awesome!

How hard was it to type using the iPhone. Id like to find out before I purchase one.

At first, typing with the iPhone was difficult for me, but that only lasted about two days. Now, I can’t imagine it being any easier!
